I love that Bitty Baby has not a thumb among the fingers and six toes, no problem!

I think this may be the busiest time of my life yet. I had three shows in October, which is generally as many as I do per year, and I have four more before year end. This time has been unique in that I am producing pieces much more quickly then usual and my to-do list reads like a long line of completed mental photographs. Ru's work inspires me to work even more projects collaboratively with her, but I suspect she finds me under-qualified! The list is seemingly endless, so I struggle to drag myself out of the studio. I have my hand in enough simultaneous projects to warrant an organizational Post-It Note System. Suddenly, though, not all the Post-Its appear in my handwriting:
Hmmm. She reads, she writes, she discerns more effective means of getting through to her mother. This next one gently, though kindly, suggests neglect and would I pretty please get my a$$ out of the studio and join the family once in while ( I am one of eight children, and even today I never suspect anyone would notice me or my whereabouts!):
This other sad little memo made me giggle, too:
Oooh, and I do hope the next one alludes to an impending surprise trip! Yes, why even venture to Northern CA (dig the map!) without a kite?
Ru also had a passion for catalogs. She takes them into the bathroom with her, and otherwise peruses them endlessly. She cuts photos out of the catalogs, then stuffs envelopes with the photos, preferences, and detailed instructions for Santa. Last count for these envelopes was 47. Someone I know is planning an extraordinary Christmas morning indeed! Here are just a few:
So painting, drawing, sewing, sculpture, and a new documentary trailer (all coming soon!!!) aside, the holidays are upon us! I finally wandered out and shook the unborn images from my brain. We celebrated our first Thanksgiving last week with my family, and there are several more to come. What special, special days. So very thankful for my families, my friends that have become family, and time spent with you. Also, for Post-It Notes...

LOVE LOVE LOVE the purse!!!!

Hey Kristy!
Thanks so much! I have some new handbags in shows right now, and if all goes as planned they will be available at the boutique by early 2010. I'm never sure that I am finished tweaking these...!
