Red Dog Gallery, Phoenix

2009 was my sixth summer living in Phoenix.  I suppose I've finally adjusted to the heat because upon asking several people if this summer seemed milder than those previous, each responded with a resounding "NO!"  A side effect of this adjustment is that during August and September, while many around the country are pulling out sweaters and woolen socks,  I begin preparations for Phoenix spring.  It has arrived!  Cool, crisp 100 degrees days, and perfect 80 degree evenings beckon me back outside!  I am only sorry that you would have to live here for six years to understand what I am talking about.  I do realize that these numbers make absolutely no sense at all to anyone who hasn't!

Saturday morning I had the honor of moving into Red Dog Gallery, downtown Phoenix.

I am thrilled to show here.  It is a really warm and inviting space with so many jewels by artists that I admire very much.

And since the weather is so very lovely: pssssssst!  Join me back outside, Phoenicians!  The Phoenix Art Walk is October 2, and every First Friday.
