Blood Into Wine: The Arizona Stronghold

Whew!
It is a wild, wild ride, this life!

I am barely hanging on as I touch down here briefly to check in; exhausted, thirsty, hair tangled, but content and no kidding, full of wonder.
This year has just oozed birth, love, creation, and death all around me, as well as incredible experiences and opportunities.
I'm in a constantly renewed state of disbelief.
And it is only May.  What?!  It is May already?!

This week Kris and I are able to cross "become movie producers" off of our "Things To Do Before We Die" list!  This gives me hope that we will actually get around to the other absurd items on that old, wrinkled list: record a platinum selling rap album perhaps, or win the Olympic gold in weightlifting before lunching with Anthony Bourdain

The film is a documentary called Blood Into Wine: The Arizona Stronghold.  It is about Maynard James Keenan (yes, Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer fans!) and partner Eric Glomski's quest to pioneer the production of wine on the unlikely Arizona landscape.

Enormous thanks and kudos to brilliant writer/producer/director Ryan Page, of Moog and The Heart Is a Drum Machine.

Gargantuan thanks and love to my dear, dear friend and fellow producer Chris McDaniel.  This guy has consistently helped me without my even knowing I needed help, he has believed in me in spite of myself, and proves every day that life is what you make it.

A little peek:
